VÉHICULE Racing Team Triumphs at Pavia-Venezia 2025
VÉHICULE Racing Team: good things come to those who persist.
Good things take time. Three is a charm. VÉHICULE Racing Team claimed victory at the 2025 Pavia-Venezia race. Jan-Cees Korteland and brother Paul Korteland finally conquered the iconic endurance challenge. Their third attempt sealed the deal.

In 2022, a broken propeller dashed their hopes. The next year, overpowered competition and a misclassification threw them off course. Then, a dried-out River Po tested their resolve. Yet, the Korteland brothers never wavered. Their passion for powerboat racing burned brighter.

This year, everything aligned. Jan-Cees, the master pilot, navigated with precision. Paul, the fearless co-pilot, kept the team steady. Together, they tamed the 400km stretch from Pavia to Venice. The VÉHICULE Racing Team’s relentless pursuit paid off. They crossed the finish line first, proving resilience wins races.

Authenticity drives VÉHICULE. The Kortelands embody this. Their story is one of grit, skill, and brotherhood. From their world championship win on Lake Como to this Pavia-Venezia triumph, they redefine what’s possible on water.
